Original oil painting on Ampersand Gessobord panel, a premium archival board made from sustainable forest products.
Painted with brush and palette knife using quality oils, some hand-made from pigment with walnut oil medium. This scene captures the afternoon light at the vineyard, not far from here; late afternoon, August.

Premium Muscadine grapes flourish in the hot sun of Florida and are perfect for making sparkling & dessert wines. The earliest records of Muscadine grape winemaking in what is now the United States dates back to French explorers who fermented Muscadine grapes as early as 1562.
